Our Hospitality Services Manager works alongside our dieticians to create a variety of delicious and nutritious meals. All food is prepared by our in house professional Chef and a team of catering staff dedicated to delivering daily menus using fresh seasonal produce and served in one of the dining rooms or as room service.
Allowance is made in menu planning for special diets and individual preferences. Residents are offered a choice of meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner to ensure all tastes are catered for.
Many of our facilities have private dining rooms which can be used when entertaining guests.
For most of our residents, our menu provides 100% of their daily food intake. Many residents look forward to meal times and its as an opportunity to make some of their own decisions around their eating choices. We aim to ensure everyone gets pleasure from the whole experience including social interaction with other residents and staff.
Nutrition is key and we follow high standards to ensure prime cuts are served alongside fresh produce with reduced sodium and sugars, with flavoursome, balanced, well thought out meals and menus ensuring variety alongside all manner of unique preferences and dietary requirements.
The atmosphere in the dining room also influences the residents’ enjoyment of their food. We carefully consider the lighting, appropriate furniture and layout, ambience, noise and assistive cutlery, crockery and glassware.
