    About the Role

    Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Catering Attendant on a casual basis who has cooking experience for our Bowral House Nursing Home. This is a great opportunity for a candidate seeking career growth as mentoring and ongoing development is on offer.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a high level of organisational and customer service skills and is able to work effectively in a team and with our elderly residents. The successful candidate will be committed to quality, safety and providing excellent customer service to all of our residents.

    Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of meals
  • Serving of meals
  • Setting up for the next meal service

    About the Role

    Thompson Health Care is currently seeking an Administration Assistant to join our Milford House Nursing Home in Randwick on a permanent part time basis offering 16 hours per week. The position is for 4 days on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 10 am -2 pm.

    The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous administration/ receptionist experience, thrives on working in a busy environment and enjoys being in a customer facing role. The position entails being the first point of contact for people visiting the home, assisting with enquiries and administration tasks.

    The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritise work
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
  • Good attention to detail, be highly organised and able to engage with a range of people
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including outlook and excel
  • Experience with Time Target or similar staff management/ rostering system is desirable but not essential
