About the Role

Abbey House Nursing Home is seeking a casual General Services Officer to join the team on 15 hours a week with shifts on Thursdays and Fridays. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to work within our Catering, Laundry and Cleaning department.

This role will suit a keen candidate who enjoys working in a busy environment. Candidates who have previous experience in cleaning or catering will be highly regarded. We are seeking a candidate who has a positive attitude and are passionate to work with the elderly. This is a great opportunity to work in a rewarding role within a supportive, friendly environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous work experience as a cleaner or laundry attendant preferred
  • Have knowledge of chemical products

    • Have minimum 1 year experience in aged care

    Seeking a full time Accounts Payable Assistant to join the corporate office based in Gordon. This is a fantastic entry level position with opportunity to develop and grown within the business and work with a supportive team.

    Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the accounts team with duties involving entering invoices (80-100 per day) and reconciliation
  • Assisting the Account Receivable team with tasks including billing, debt collection and banking
  • Administration tasks
  • Skills and experience:

  • Relevant Degree in Accounting
  • Experience using ACCPAC is preferred but not essential
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
