    About the Role

    Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Nursing Assistant for a casual position offering morning and afternoon shifts. The successful candidate will work alongside our Director of Nursing and Deputy Director of Nursing to provide quality care for our residents.

    Duties

  • Provide quality care according to the current Resident Care Plan to meet the individuals needs and enhance quality of life
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, grooming, mobility and nutrition
  • Contribute to care plans and documentation
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the Nursing Team
  • Promote harmony and foster teamwork in a caring environment
  • Skills & Experience:

  • Have minimum 2 years’ experience in aged care
  • Have Certificate III or Certificate IV in Nursing
  • Strive for excellence in customer service and care

    About the Role

    Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse for a permanent part-time position, for night shifts on Friday to Monday. This is a perfect role for someone looking take the next step in their career as the role allows the candidate the opportunity to utilise their clinical and supervision skills as they will be assisting to oversee a nursing team.

    The successful candidates will:

    • Will work closely with the management team to oversee the clinical care of residents
    • Have minimum of 1 year experience as a Enrolled Nurse or NAAR
    • Have a Cert IV in Aged Care with medication competency

The role involves organising and running activities, sourcing entertainment and assisting with resident’s daily activities.

    Skills & Experiences:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Recreational Activities Officer or a Lifestyle Officer is preferred

    • Have a Certificate in Lifestyle and Leisure, or Health and Recreation

    We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will help with ensuring our resident receive nutritious and tasty meals. This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about cooking healthy meals and working off a monthly menu.

    The successful Cook candidate will have:

    • Commercial Cookery certificate will be highly regarded
    • Minimum 2 years Cook experience

    Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a permanent part-time position, for night shifts on Monday and Tuesday each week, and a Saturday once a fortnight. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join a well-established nursing team to providing excellent care to all our residents.

    Duties

    • Ensure the highest clinical and resident care to meet the resident’s individual needs and enhance quality of life
    • Ensure resident care and treatment is documented to meet regulatory requirements
    • Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives
    • Provide leadership and supervision of other nursing staff

    Skills & Experience:

    • Current registration with AHPRA and preferably 2 year or more experience in an aged care setting
    • Have sound knowledge of ACFI documentation or willing to learn
    • Skilled communicator and ability to build rapport with others
    • Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust
