    About the Role

    Thompson Health Care is seeking experienced Nursing Assistants on a casual basis with a view to be made permanent for our Southern Highlands Nursing Homes located in Mittagong and Bowral. There are shifts available on both weekdays and weekends. The successful candidates will work closely with the dedicated Registered Nurse teams to provide a high standard of nursing care to the residents.

About the Roles

Registered Nurse- Sponsorship on offer for the right candidate

Macleay Valley House is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse on a permanent full-time basis with morning, night and weekends shifts available. The Registered Nurse role provides clinical supervision and co-ordination and is supported by EEN’s, Certificate lV – Medication Nurses and Nursing Assistants.

A second position is for a Registered Nurse to work as part of the pain management team providing therapeutic pain massage and treatments.This is also a permanent part time position working morning shifts Monday to Friday only. The salary range for the Registered Nurse roles are between $31-38 dependent on experience.

Nursing Assistant

We are seeking Nursing Assistants on a casual basis with a view to be made permanent. On offer are night and day shifts available. The successful candidate will have previous Nursing Assistant experience and be passionate about providing excellent care to all our residents.

Registered Nurse Skills & Experience:

  • Current registration with AHPRA and preferably 1 years or more experience in an aged care setting
  • Have sound knowledge of ACFI documentation or willing to learn
  • Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff

      About the Role

    Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Catering Attendant for a casual role at our Seabeach Gardens Nursing Home. We are seeking a candidate who is able to work unlimited hours.

    The successful candidate will work closely with the Chef assist in the preparation and delivery of quality meals to our residents. We are looking for a bright candidate who is committed to quality, safety and providing excellent customer service to all of our residents.

      Duties

    • Assist in the preparation of food
    • Serving of meals: depending on shift times this may include a combination of breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper
    • Setting up for the next meal service and restocking of kitchen dry and cold stores, and ward kitchenette
    • General kitchen cleaning and maintenance
    • Providing assistance and support to the chef
    • Provide quality meals to residents at designated meal times
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
      Skills & Experience:

    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
