    About the Role

    Thompson Health Care is seeking Registered Nurses for casual, part-time and/or full time employment across all shifts. The successful candidates will work alongside our highly experience and dedicated nursing team led by Director of Nursing Caroline Fennell.

    New Graduates are most welcome to apply with the availability of an in-house New Grad programme available for completion with the assistance of our Educator.

    Duties

  • Ensure the highest clinical and resident care to meet the resident’s individual needs and enhance quality of life
  • Ensure resident care and treatment is documented to meet regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives
  • Provide leadership and supervision of other nursing staff
  • Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA, preferably 1 year or more in an aged care setting
  • Knowledge of ACFI documentation preferred
  • Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
  • Skilled communicator and ability to build rapport with others/li>
  • Strong passion for learning about the aged care sector
