About the Role

Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a permanent part- time position offering 7am-3:15pm shifts on Monday and Tuesday. The successful candidate will work alongside our Director of Nursing and Deputy Director of Nursing to provide quality care for our residents.


  • Ensure the highest clinical and resident care to meet the resident’s individual needs and enhance quality of life
  • Ensure resident care and treatment is documented to meet regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives
  • Provide leadership and supervision of other nursing staff

Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA and preferably 2 years or more experience in an aged care setting
  • Have sound knowledge of ACFI documentation or willing to learn
  • Skilled communicator and ability to build rapport with others
  • Confident and experienced in supervision of other nursing staff
  • Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust
