About the Role

Thompson Health Care is seeking a caring and enthusiastic candidate for our Recreational Activities Officer. This permanent part time role is for Monday to Friday, from 10am – 5:30pm (5 days a week). The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on keeping active, enjoys interacting with people and being creative. The role involves organising and running activities, sourcing entertainment and assisting with resident’s daily activities.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Recreational Activities Officer or a Lifestyle Officer is preferred
  • Is energetic and strives for excellence in customer service
  • Have a Certificate in Lifestyle and Leisure, or Health and Recreation
  • Have effective communication and computer documentation skills
  • Have passion and genuine care for elderly
