About the Role

Thompson Health Care is seeking a caring and enthusiastic candidate for our Recreational Activities Officer position. This role is on Monday through to Friday from 9:30- 5:30 pm offering 37.5 hours.

This is a great opportunity for a Nursing Assistant looking to step into a more creative and dynamic role while still assisting residents in their daily activities.

The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on keeping active, enjoys interacting with people and being creative. The role involves organising and running activities, sourcing entertainment and assisting with residents daily activities.

Skills & Experiences

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Nursing Assistant or Lifestyle Officer
  • Strive for excellence in customer service
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
