The restored Milford House maintains the building's
history and charm while providing the best quality care and accomodation.
Historic and elegant Milford House has been carefully
restored to its original grandeur and is now home to 53 residents in the
inner Sydney suburb of Randwick.
Built in 1895, the beautiful Victorian building - home to the first Premier
of New South Wales, Sir John See - was restored in character and upgraded
for use as a nursing home by Thompson Health Care in 1993.
Inside Milford House, the aura of elegance and old world charm continues
with beautifully-appointed rooms and traditional Victorian lounge and
dining areas.
In modifying and refurbishing Milford House for use as a nursing home,
all care was taken to facilitate easy delivery of healthcare services
and ensure comfort and security for residents. The result is a perfect
combination of maintaining the building's history and charm while providing
the best quality care and accommodation for residents.
