It is the philosophy of Thompson Health Care to continually provide formal and informal training. An education program is offered on-site for all staff.


This course is offered onsite at one of our facilities in Sydney and at one of our facilities in the Southern Highlands. Please speak with your Director of Nursing or Educator regarding when the next course is due to start.


Certain modules of the course are offered to AINs with their Certificate III who have been selected to work with medications. Please speak with your Director of Nursing to discuss this advanced role.

When funding allows, we offer the full course to selected AINs who have completed their Certificate III


Specific knowledge and skills upgrading courses are sponsored from time to time on a needs basis.
